You will need:

  • 2 tablespoons of tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel

How to make and use this face mask:

  2. Wash your face and neck with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser.

You will need:

  • ½ cup papaya
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp honey

How to make and use this face mask:

  1. Mash the papaya to a pulp. Next, whisk the egg white and add it to the papaya pulp.
  2. Add the honey, and mix well to make a smooth paste.
  3. Wash your face
  4. Apply the face mask and let it dry for 15 minutes.
  5. Wash the mask away by rinsing with lukewarm water.
  6. Finally, splash your skin with cool water to close and tighten pores, and then pat dry with a soft, clean towel.

3. Tea Tree Oil & Clay Face Mask for Oily Skin

You will need:

  • 2-3 drops tea tree oil
  • 1 tbsp clay or Multani mitti
  • 3-4 caps rose water

How to make and use this face mask:

  1. Add the tea tree oil to the clay powder, along with rose water. Mix to make a smooth paste.
  2. Apply a thin layer on your face and let dry.
  3. Wash off with cool water.

4. Aloe Vera & Tea Tree Oil Overnight Face Mask for Acne

You will need:

  • 1-2 drops tea tree oil
  • 2 tbsps aloe vera gel
  • ½ tsp unrefined coconut oil

How to make and use this face mask:

  1. Mix the tea tree essential oil, aloe vera gel, and coconut oil until well blended.
  2. Apply a thin layer on a clean face just before bedtime.
  3. Leave it on for the night. You can place a towel on your pillow to protect the case from staining.
  4. Rinse with warm water the next morning.

5. Black Charcoal Peel-Off Mask for Blackheads

You will need:

  • 1/2 tsp or 1 capsule activated charcoal powder
  • 1 tsp gelatine
  • 1 tbsp clay powder
  • 2-3 drops lavender oil
  • 2 tbsps hot water (to make the paste)

How to make and use this face mask:

  1. Mix the charcoal powder with the clay and gelatine with a wooden spatula. The wooden spatula would preserve the properties of the gelatine. Add the hot water and mix well.
  2. Lastly, add the lavender oil drops and mix again.
  3. Use a makeup brush to apply the peel off mask quickly, before it thickens. In case the face mask dries in the bowl use teaspoon of hot water to revive it.
  4. Apply the peel off mask evenly all over your face. Wait for 20 minutes or until the charcoal face mask dries completely.
  5. Gently peel off the mask in small sections. Clean your face with a wet washcloth in case there’s still some mask residue.
