What are the disadvantages of sheet masks?

Since they only target the purpose of nourishing, they are not the
best exfoliating agents of the skin when compared with paste-masks. Also, if the masks are low-quality the serum tends to evaporate quickly because of the material’s low retention capacity even before the deeper tissues of the skin are nourished.

  • Read the instructions carefully, do not leave the mask on your face for more than 20
minutes (if you experience any skin irritation remove immediately)
  • Apply the mask on a clean, washed face for the serum to work its magic. Dirty skin will not allow the serum to function optimally.
  • Do not wash your face immediately after usage of a sheet mask, if you feel the serum
sitting on your face, pat dry it.
