6 Ideas We Loved from Blogger Shreya Kalra’s Delhi Wedding!!

When it comes to their own wedding, our bloggers know how to do it in style! Shreya Kalra, the popular fashion blogger behind For The Love Of Fashion & Other Things, got married in late 2017 and hers was a wedding full of bridal style ideas. Shreya’s fashion sense is unique and edgy, and we saw this in her sartorial choices. Lesson to learn? BE YOURSELF, brides!

Shreya’s wedding was a close-knit affair, with more emphasis on togetherness rather than formality. This factor is definitely reflected in all of her pictures where you can see her laughing heartily, very much enjoying her wedding.

We LOVE her engagement outfit. First, she picked a sari while everyone else out there is opting for lehengas and anarkalis. Two, she went for an Anamika Khanna sari that’s ultra-chic and makes it a unique pick for a bride! The colour-blocking, the motifs and signature Anamika Khanna pearl work are some of the things we loved.

She kept the makeup fresh, drawing all the attention to her eyes and lips. Red glass bangles, chand balis and gajra made perfect accessories for the look.

We loved the bright pink & yellow theme of her Mehendi-cum-Sangeet function. Shreya’s sunny yellow sharara kurta with a touch of fuschia pink (through the outfit’s lining) worked well with the decor!

Ditching the the two-dupatta trend, Shreya opted for an unconventional lehenga. She wore an off-shoulder blouse paired with a signature Payal Singhal embroidered lehenga. Accessorising her outfit right with only the essentials, the look was glamorous yet not over the top.
